Hazard Control Technologies

Hazard Control Technologies, Inc. develops fire suppression, vapor mitigation, and contamination-control solutions for modern high-hazard environments. Founded in 1997, the Georgia-based company has grown from a regional chemical-agent manufacturer into a global provider serving firefighters, industrial operators, safety professionals, and organizations responsible for protecting critical equipment and infrastructure.

The company’s patented Encapsulator Technology is designed to address hazards created by modern materials, including synthetic products, combustible fuels, and lithium-ion batteries. Its F-500 Encapsulator Agent reduces heat, encapsulates fuels, interrupts the chemical chain reaction associated with combustion, and helps limit the potential for re-ignition. The agent is fluorine-free, readily biodegradable, and noncorrosive, supporting fire mitigation without introducing many of the environmental and equipment concerns associated with traditional firefighting foams.

Hazard Control Technologies manufactures its encapsulator agents in the United States under an ISO 9001-registered quality-management system. Its internal team includes active and retired firefighters who contribute practical incident-response experience to product development, training, and customer support.

As part of the Troman partner network, HCT provides proven suppression technology that supports the final stage of fire mitigation: controlling heat, reducing the continuing fuel hazard, and helping prevent a manageable thermal event from escalating.

Troman Industries is the exclusive North America distributor for HCT transit products.
