Regional Sales Manager

Troman Industries is seeking a motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to expand our presence across North America. This individual will be responsible for developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth within the public transit, motorcoach, paratransit, and rail markets.
The ideal candidate is a consultative salesperson who understands complex equipment sales, enjoys building long-term partnerships, and thrives in a customer-focused environment.
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Identify, prospect, and secure new customers within the transit and transportation sectors.
Maintain and expand relationships with transit agencies, OEMs, dealers, consultants, and fleet operators.
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for customers.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, quotations, and bid responses.
Track market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs.
Represent Troman Industries at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records.
Support customers throughout the sales cycle, from initial discovery through implementation and follow-up.
Required experience
3+ years of successful B2B sales experience.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Experience managing large territories and complex sales cycles.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to travel throughout assigned regions as needed.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel independently.
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Ideal candidate
Experience selling to public transit agencies, transportation providers, or commercial vehicle markets.
Background in safety systems, vehicle technology, transportation equipment, or industrial products.
Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Skilled at identifying customer challenges and developing solution-based sales strategies.
Comfortable presenting to both executive leadership and operational teams.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growing a territory.
