Troman Industries is seeking an Equipment Installer responsible for the installation, testing, and support of safety and monitoring systems on transit, coach, and specialty vehicles.
Key responsibilities
Install video mirror systems, event data recorders, fire suppression systems, and related equipment.
Perform wiring, troubleshooting, and system testing.
Read and interpret installation drawings and technical documentation.
Travel to customer facilities throughout North America.
Train customers on proper equipment usage and maintenance.
Maintain installation records and project documentation.
Required experience
2+ years of experience in vehicle electrical systems, fleet maintenance, or equipment installation.
Experience reading wiring diagrams and schematics.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to travel up to 75%.
Ideal candidate
Experience working with buses, coaches, heavy trucks, or rail equipment.
Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work independently in the field.
Detail-oriented and safety-focused.
